This is a collection of remixes primarily culled from Lovespirals' first-ever remix contest held with loop producers, Peace Love Productions, for the band’s original song, “Walk Away.” The contest was held several months before the release of their 2005 album, 'Free & Easy.' This set is comprised of an international collection of producers from Canada, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, and the USA, all putting their own unique spin on Anji Bee's soulful vocals and Ryan's haunting guitar and Rhodes melodies.

The 'Walk Away EP' features the popular Bitstream Dream remix by Rom di Prisco which currently holds #2 in Downtempo on Mevio's Podsafe Music Chart because of numerous appearances on podcasts including The Daily Source Code with Adam Curry, Dave's Lounge, Hip Tranquil Chick, Sound Republic with Derek the Bandit, Xtra Chill, SolipsisticNation, and of course, The Chillcast with Anji Bee.

With digital distribution being considerably more costly and difficult in 2004, the 'Walk Away EP' was delayed and then left behind as Lovespirals focused on the launch of their first self-released album. It surfaced on various digital download sites like AmieSt, SoundClick, and the PMN, but never made it into the major online stores. With the advent of bandcamp, the band decided it was high time to make a proper release of it, adding in 3 more recent mixes to flesh out the lineup. The cover art was also radically redesigned with the band's recent logo created by ithinkitsnice.
